How did you get started in golf and what do love most about it?
My dad got me started with golf at age 4! He actually built a 9-hole par 3 course at my house that is open to the public! Growing up I always had an actual "home course" which I think is pretty special. I love how I have been able to help grow the game of golf through the years through mentoring younger kids, working for the SnedsTour, and watching the kids grow up to become competitive golfers! My favorite part of golf is meeting new people and hopefully impacting their lives because they have definitely impacted mine.
If you could play any golf course in the world, which you would you play and why?
I'd love to play Augusta National! I've been to the Masters twice, but it would be really special to get to actually play it!
Is there a new talent or hobby you learned during quarantine?
I don't know if it's a talent or a hobby, but I took up fishing during quarantine! I always threw them back, of course. Fish are friends not food!
What golfer did you idolize growing up and why?
I really loved Paula Creamer because everything she had was pink! I also like Brandt Snedeker because he's from Nashville too and I played on the Sneds Tour which is sponsored by him.
What makes Belmont special to you?
Belmont is special to me because it has opened so many doors for me. I have met so many amazing people who I know I will keep in touch with for years to come. It is an excellent education and has an atmosphere for success. It is a beautiful and magical place and I am so grateful I've had the opportunity to represent this beautiful school for four years now.
