Top 10 Moments of 2019-20: No. 4 - Boston Three Party

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont's overwhelming victory at Boston College comes in at No. 4 of our countdown of the Top 10 moments of the 2019-20 season.

The Bruins were in full flight this November Saturday in Chesnut Hill, carrying momentum from an impressive home opening showing vs. Samford.

Adam Kunkel shined brightest, pouring in a career-high 35 points as part of his All-OVC campaign.

The Bruins and Eagles matched each other shot for shot in a highly-entertaining first half.

Yet the first eight minutes of the second half proved to be Belmont's most complete stretch of the season, showcasing a devastating combination of unified defense and pinpoint outside shooting.

Kunkel, Michael Benkert, Ben Sheppard and Nick Hopkins made consecutive 3-pointers to punctuate the run, giving the Bruins a 79-54 lead.

Garrett Suedekum got Belmont to the century mark as the Bruins rewarded graduate student Tyler Scanlon with a unforgettable memory in his return to Beantown.

For perspective, Boston College would later register wins over North Carolina, NC State, Virginia Tech, Notre Dame and defending national champion Virginia - with the Eagles without their top two scorers.
