HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - - Belmont University men's basketball will play Alabama Saturday, Dec. 21 in the fourth annual Rocket City Classic, the Huntsville Sports Commission announced Wednesday.

The game will be played at the Von Braun Center and be part of a basketball doubleheader also featuring the University of Alabama Huntsville and Spring Hill College.

"The Rocket City Classic has proven to be a successful neutral-site event, so we're thrilled to be a part of it this season," Belmont head coach Casey Alexander said. "Playing Alabama in Huntsville will provide our fans with a great opportunity to see the Bruins on the road against a high caliber opponent."

Game times will be set in the coming weeks.
