Tyler Thomas returns to Belmont University Athletics in fall 2019 as a graduate assistant for athletic marketing. He spent the 2018-19 year as an intern, supporting all of the Bruins' marketing and promotions efforts.
In his role at Belmont, Thomas aids with promotions related to men’s and women’s soccer in addition to helping with the marketing efforts on game days. He also assists with all men’s basketball promotions and themes.
Thomas also has experience at the professional sports level, currently serving as a Nashville Predators guest experience intern. With the Predators, Thomas aids with season ticket renewals and extensions while providing customer service ticket holders. He also served as a game day marketing intern with the Tennessee Titans during the 2018 season, assisting the marketing team with set up and executing promotions.
As an undergrad student, Thomas served as an athletic marketing intern for Mississippi State athletics and was quickly promoted to athletic marketing assistant in December 2017. He assisted with the promotional efforts for men’s and women’s basketball as well as developed the marketing plan for softball.
Along with his marketing experience, Thomas served as a sideline reporter for Choctaw County High School and was a public announcer for Mississippi State athletics in the fall of 2017.
Thomas received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Mississippi State in August 2018. He is currently working on his Master of Sport Administration degree at Belmont, on track to graduate in May 2020.
