Seth Raborn joined Belmont University Athletics in Fall 2019 as a graduate assistant for media relations. He serves as the primary sport contact for men's soccer and women's basketball.
Prior to his arrival at Belmont, Raborn served as a media relations intern for the University of Tennessee athletic department. Raborn was the primary contact for the Volunteers’ swimming and diving team, playing a crucial role in the execution of the 2019 SEC Swimming and Diving Championships. The Nashville native also assisted with multiple sports, updating media guides and stats for record books in addition to writing feature stories on current student-athletes.
During his undergrad at Tennessee, Raborn was a media relations intern for the Tennessee Smokies baseball club, the Knoxville Ice Bears, and assisted with the media relations efforts for the 2019 SEC women’s basketball tournament. In addition to his media relations experience, Raborn has extensive news media background, working at Nashville Sports Radio, WUTK 90.3 The Rock and serving as Sports Editor for the Tennessee Journalist.
Raborn received a journalism and electronic media degree from the University of Tennessee in May 2019. He is currently working on his Master’s of Sport Administration degree at Belmont.
