NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Belmont Baseball will be hosting the 2019 Fall Instructional League beginning Aug. 22. The league provides an opportunity for high school players to showcase their skills in a game like setting.
Each team in the league will be coached by the Belmont coaching staff and current players, receiving in-game instruction for the duration of the camp. The game dates are scheduled for Aug. 26, Aug. 29, Sept. 3, Sept. 5 and Sept. 9, with Aug. 28 and Sept. 4 scheduled as the make up dates if inclement weather occurs. Games will be played from 6-8 p.m at Rose Park and Shelby Park.
Over 50 former Fall League participants have played college baseball, including a 2012 MLB Draft pick. Cost for position players is $300, with pitchers only costing $175.
