MACON, Ga. - - Belmont men's basketball faces North Florida Saturday night in the Atlantic Sun Championship.
The Bruins defeated Mercer, 80-72, Friday, while North Florida defeated ETSU, 59-55, to advance to the championship game.
Belmont won the previous two meetings this season, 91-59 Jan. 8 in Nashville, and 69-67 Feb. 5 in Jacksonville. Sophomore Ian Clark (Memphis, Tenn.) is averaging 17.3 points per game in four career games against the Ospreys, including a career-high 31 points last February.
Five Bruins scored in double figures in the Jan. 8 victory.
This is Belmont's fourth Atlantic Sun Championship game appearance, having won each of the previous three (2006, 2007, 2008).
The game will tip-off at 5:00pm CT, and will be carried live on ESPN2 and ESPN3.com.
